US literally had the perfect opportunity to woo India considering the current geopolitical scenario, with China's rise to becoming a global power which threatens US and India both, and with Russia being engaged in the war, this could have been the time for US to strengthen its ties.

Instead, all US did was ensure that even non-aligned countries shift their courses towards protecting their own interests. Wonder what are the long term implications of the game Trump is playing.

I read somewhere that an empire only lasts for around 250 years, and then onwards, its gradual downfall and eventual crumbling starts, and I can't help but wonder if US is going to be the next big power which falls prey to this.
